The Downpayment on Your Dream Program is an innovative program that will provide downpayment assistance to eligible homebuyers who would like to buy a bankowned foreclosure property in Prince George's County.


  The Downpayment on Your Dream Program offers up to 3.5% of the purchase price up to $15,000 in the eligible zip codes, and 7% of the purchase price up to $20,000 in the targeted zip codes, or for people that's in Workforce housing such as teachers, police officers, nurses, or employees purchasing a home within a 3- miles radius of place of employment. 


  Each buyer must take the manadatory 8 hrs counseling where they will be informed on the home buying process, understanding what to look for in a home, maintenance, and the importance of developing a budget.
